Dr. Fong Hio Cheng is a registered Clinical Psychologist, Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP), Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS). She is also a Clinical Psychologist in Accredited Register under The Accredited Registers Scheme for Healthcare Professions of Department of Health.
Dr. Fong has worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Hospital Authority. She provides clinical services including psychological assessment and interventions to people of different ages and suffered from a variety of health conditions in medical and psychiatric settings. She has experience in providing onsite school support services, in which she worked with the hospital psychiatric team, parents and teachers to enhance mental health support to primary and secondary school students. She was also involved in child and adolescent community support services, provided training and consultation services to social workers.
Dr. Fong has extensive experience in health-related community projects. She has engaged in research studies, professional training and public education activities, and service development and evaluation projects with community partners including public hospitals and non-government organizations, with the aim to enhance the quality of life of people suffering from various health conditions.
