Ms. Lucy Lee has more than ten years of experience in counselling children, adolescents and families. She previously worked with over 100 children and young people aged three to eighteen in residential care. She later pursued further training and worked in the UK. After qualifying as a family therapist, she provided family counselling and bereavement support to patients and their families at St Joseph’s Hospice. She subsequently worked in the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and taught communication skills and family therapy to medical students at the University of Southampton. She is now a part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong and a family therapist in private practice. She also writes for parenting education platforms.
Ms. Lee supports children, adolescents and adults experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties, together with their families. Using a family systems approach, she helps families better understand their relationships, identify their strengths and resources, and improve the way they interact and communicate. Her areas of practice include emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and adolescents, parenting, marital relationships, anxiety, depression, past traumatic experiences and bereavement.
