Ms. Vivian Lau is a child play therapist registered with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA RPT) and holds a Master of Social Sciences in Play Therapy. She has extensive experience in children’s mental health, using play to help children develop emotional regulation, behavioural, problem-solving and social skills. She also supports children with special educational needs (SEN).
Ms. Lau is also a CPD-certified children’s mindfulness instructor, incorporating mindfulness techniques to support children’s mental well-being, emotional regulation and concentration. In addition, she is a qualified Special Child Care Worker (S.C.C.W.), enabling her to support young children with a range of special educational needs.
She is committed to providing support tailored to each child, helping them explore their thoughts and feelings through play and build self-confidence. She also works with parents to deepen their understanding of their children.
