The HealthyMind Child Development Centre provides diverse and professional school-based services for tertiary institutions, secondary schools, and primary schools. Our professional team consists of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, educational psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and counsellors. With extensive experience in delivering school-based support, our members offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to institutional needs. These include psychiatric and psychological assessments, student development assessments, case consultations, individual and group student training sessions, parent talks or workshops, and professional training for faculty and staff.
School-based Clinical Psychological Services

We provide mental health assessments for students with emotional distress, SEN, or other specific needs to understand their challenges and deliver evidence-based psychotherapy that enhances well-being. Upon completion, we provide progress reports, follow-up recommendations, tailored learning accommodations, and professional referral services*.
*Referral services include: Psychiatric consultations, diagnosis, medical treatment, and referral letters.

Students with suspected or confirmed Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often face varying levels of difficulty in social communication and interaction. ADHD Student Training Group
Students with ADHD generally demonstrate lower executive functions compared to their peers. Difficulties in behavioral inhibition often lead to impulsivity and hyperactivity, negatively impacting their learning, daily life, social interactions, and family relationships. Through diverse activities and games, this group trains students' attention and self-management skills to help them adapt to daily challenges.

Dyslexia Student Training Group
Students with dyslexia encounter difficulties in reading and writing, often accompanied by weaker memory and slower information processing speeds. This group utilizes a relaxed group setting and systematic, progressive multi-sensory learning approaches to boost learning motivation and interest, enhancing fundamental Chinese and English literacy while fostering self-efficacy.

School-based Parent Talks & Workshops

We offer a comprehensive range of parent talks and workshops. Topics include understanding the needs of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), managing children's emotions and stress, enhancing parent-child communication, and supporting parents' own mental well-being.
Aligned with the Education Bureau’s (EDB) recent initiatives to strengthen home-school co-operation and promote parent education, our curriculum is fully mapped to the EDB's "Parent Education Curriculum Framework". We provide a structured series of sessions to foster children’s holistic development, promote well-being, enhance parents' physical and mental health, and bridge home-school communication.
All program contents comply with the EDB "Parent Education Curriculum Framework". Schools may utilize the "One-off Grant for Parent Education" to purchase our talks and workshops.
